Louise Watt
Louise Watt has spent most of her career to date as a journalist, reporting on geopolitics, defence, human rights and the environment from countries as diverse as China, the United States and Tuvalu.
Most recently a TV journalist and anchor in Taiwan, she has also reported for U.S. and British newspapers and networks, including NBC, The Telegraph and The Times. She spent more than a decade working for The Associated Press out of London, Bangkok and Beijing.
Aside from journalism, Louise was the Global PR Manager for IQAir AirVisual, using its data to raise awareness of air pollution, particularly in South East Asia.
In the impact space, she managed an international human rights film festival, organising its first-ever edition in Taiwan; and founded and led a project promoting gender equality in Chinese-language film.
Louise has also worked as a cross-cultural communications strategist, helping companies connect more effectively with potential clients, and executives captivate a room.
Louise speaks Mandarin Chinese, French and Spanish, and a little Portuguese.
