Clare McCartney

Clare's life before On Purpose was in the world of finance, working for Nomura and Macquarie in the area of institutional equity for over five years. It was during her time on the committee of the Macquarie Foundation that she discovered Impact Investment and left her career to dig a bit deeper. The Social Starters programme took her to India in 2017 where she worked with a social enterprise incubator on investor readiness training. Prior to her life in London she completed her Masters of Commerce at Sydney University and volunteered for social enterprise and charity organisations whilst living in Argentina.
