Olivia McCormick
Prior to starting with On Purpose, Olivia spent several years working in the asset management industry. Most recently, she was a Vice President at BlackRock where she was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Global and UK Investment Consultants. This involved advising investment consultants and their investors (institutional, LGPS, DC and Wealth) on their investment strategies and incorporating environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into their portfolios.
Olivia has always been passionate about reducing social inequality and climate solutions. She has worked with The Fore, a charity focused on providing unrestricted grants, business skills and training and impact management support to small scale UK registered non-profits. In this role, Olivia partnered with The Fore on their standard funding rounds, their Having Council Funding Programme, their COVID-19 response grant proposals and sourcing strategic volunteer support for organisations that were heavily impacted by the pandemic and saw an increased demand for their services. Additionally, Olivia was a founding member of the BlackRock EMEA Gives Leadership Committee, which focused on building up the employee engagement programs to equip employees to be agents of social change in their communities and was a Intern Lead and Mentor for Big City Bright Future.
Olivia received a BA in History from the University of Oxford.
