In the UK today, we estimate that 100,000 adults and 130,000 children are at risk of life-threatening and lasting harm from domestic abuse. Domestic abuse costs £3.1bn annually to public services and takes the lives of 2 women every week.  The human cost of abuse like this is intolerable. Our vision is that together we can end domestic abuse and we won’t stop until all families are safe.  Since SafeLives was founded 10 years ago, we and our partners have had a transformational impact on the way high risk domestic abuse victims are supported. In this placement, Associates will work on an important new project - conducting research, analysing social and financial impact and more.
