Bramwell Blower
Bramwell has always been passionate about helping people, first working as a Sailing Instructor during his school and university vacations before entering full time employment at a state secondary school, where he taught teenagers with special educational needs. It was this desire to make a positive contribution to society which initially drew him into the Civil Service - first at the centre of government in the Cabinet Office and 10 Downing Street, then overseas as a Diplomat at the British Embassy in Warsaw, where he was living immediately prior to starting On Purpose.
Alongside his day-job, Bramwell has continued to volunteer with young people and vulnerable adults in a variety of settings, most recently mentoring university students from disadvantaged backgrounds and supporting Ukrainian refugees in Poland. Bramwell decided to join On Purpose in order to gain professional experience beyond the public sector, and to increase his impact on the causes he cares about the most: education, health and wellbeing, sustainability, and social equality.
Outside of work, Bramwell loves water sports, adventure and slow travel - anything away from a screen and in nature! While he is happiest up a mountain or on the ocean, he also enjoys cultural activities and creative hobbies, and can often be found cooking and playing board games with friends at home, or exploring a new city with his trusted film camera.
