
Chinwendum Egbude
Chinwendum Blossom Egbude is a lawyer and policy professional committed to advancing sustainable international development through data-driven policies. A Mastercard Foundation Scholar, she earned an MPhil in Public Policy from the University of Cambridge. She has a proven track record in policy advocacy and policy programs design and implementation. In 2021, she was a Carrington Youth Fellow of the U.S. Consulate in Nigeira, and in 2022, a Youth Leader with the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), where she designed and led 'The Citizen' a project that simplified voter information through radio broadcasts in indigenous Nigerian languages, reaching millions across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones ahead of the 2023 general elections. She also served as a BeyGOOD Policy and Partnerships Fellow with Global Citizen, later advancing to Partnerships Associate in its Nigeria office. She further expanded her expertise as a Democratic Governance Fellow at the National Democratic Institute (NDI) in Washington, D.C. and a Research Assistant at the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA) in Johannesburg. In recognition of her work, she was nominated for The Future Awards Africa Prize for Professional Service (2021), received the Nigeria- America Partnership Award from the U.S. Consulate (2022), and was named one of Africa's Top 50 Rising Women under 30 Trailblazing in Social Impact by SheLeadsAfrica (2023). She is also a 2023 recipient of the Diana Award.
