Ellie Joyce
Before joining the On Purpose April 2026 cohort, Ellie spent five years in enterprise sales in London, helping FTSE100 companies overcome their data transformation and AI challenges. Prior to this, she worked in Operations roles within the tech industry as well as a Research role at an investment research firm.
Ellie has always volunteered alongside working, with highlights including a charity in Madrid working to break down the social barriers impacting homeless people and most recently volunteering at her local A&E, keeping patients company, acting as an interpreter for Spanish-speaking patients and trying to relieve clinical staff of non-clinical tasks.
Ellie is joining the On Purpose programme to pursue a career that is more closely aligned with her interest in and passion for facing the social and environmental challenges facing the world today. She is excited to learn from the On Purpose ecosystem and wider alumni community.
Ellie speaks French and Spanish, having studied both languages at Leeds University and also having lived in Madrid for five years. She also loves live music, festivals, travelling and spending time with her family and friends!
