Felix Saro-Wiwa
Prior to joining On Purpose, Felix Saro-Wiwa started his career co-founding ARC Ride, an electric mobility start-up in Kenya, where he helped grow the company from an early-stage idea into a venture now valued at $50+ million. There, he worked across fundraising, operations, and growth - supporting a $5.25 million Series A raise, securing grant funding from organisations including Innovate UK and P4G, and building partnerships with investors, academic institutions, and technology providers.
Alongside this, Felix developed a strong focus on climate finance and carbon markets. He authored and advanced a carbon credit project registered with Verra, and played a key role in shaping ESG strategy and investor engagement within the business.
Following his time at ARC Ride, Felix moved into consulting, where he worked with the WTS Energy Foundation to design and deliver an electric vehicle training programme for students in Kenya. This included developing curriculum content, engaging industry partners, and supporting grant fundraising efforts to expand access to clean energy education.
More recently, Felix has been working as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant in London, supporting children with complex disabilities. This experience has deepened his empathy, adaptability, and commitment to working with underserved communities, complementing his professional focus on sustainability and inclusive development.
For Felix, joining On Purpose represents an opportunity to apply his international experience within a UK context, while gaining exposure to new sectors and challenges. He is particularly motivated to explore roles that combine strategy, sustainability, and social impact, and to continue building a career focused on creating meaningful, long-term change.
