Jesal Thakker

I'm a business and marketing professional, with global experience in technology, wellness and hospitality. I've lived and worked in India, Africa, USA and London. I have a Bachelors degree in Economics and Mathematics and a Masters in International Business. My last corporate job was as marketing director for a tech company. I was leading strategic technology alliances and was responsible for working with partners like Microsoft, Google, AWS, Cisco to create partnerships, joint programmes and obtain funding. I've then been an athletics coach working with athletes across UK, India and USA. After that, I entered the world of hospitality as an entrepreneur. This took the form of 2 physical venues, my own wine brand, an e-commerce business and a wholesale business. I joined On Purpose to transition into a career than enables me to use my skills and experience to drive meaningful change and to be part of a like minded community while doing this.
