Maggie Gray
Maggie has a decade of experience in the art world as a writer, editor and digital project manager committed to making culture more accessible. Most recently, she managed the development and launch of The Watercolour World (a free online database and map of more than 120,000 documentary watercolours from global collections) as the charity's Head of Content and Operations.
Previously, she worked as the first Digital Editor of Apollo art magazine, transforming the publication's reputation online. She also has experience in commercial galleries, museums, and heritage charities, and writes frequently about art and culture for various publications. She has volunteered and raised funds for charities including Arts Emergency, English Heritage and Macmillan Cancer Support.
After years of reporting on inspiring social impact initiatives within the arts, she joined On Purpose determined to contribute more directly to social and environmental change.
