Omole Imosemi
Omole is a professional with a career that has spanned Brand Management, Marketing & Strategy, Learning & Development and Project Management. She has had the privilege of working as a corporate employee, volunteer and social entrepreneur. A lifelong learning advocate, in 2018, she set up BrandLee Solutions, a B2B resourcing and consulting firm introducing 'Bookbased Learning', a pioneering structured approach that leverages high impact books for corporate training within Nigeria. Bookbased Learning is a vehicle for improved and sustained adult reading culture, transformed citizens, corporates and communities. Prior to this, she managed AkzoNobel's Dulux paint brand in the Nigerian market for 8 years, and was responsible for conceptualising, implementing, monitoring and evaluating strategies & tactics, which ensured the brand maintained its leadership position in the sector. Omole has led and project-managed multiple social intervention projects targeted at vulnerable and disadvantaged groups and communities. These include: orphanages, senior citizens' homes, small scale traders, hospitals , widows, delinquent youths, and the unemployed. Her commitment to designing and deploying innovative solutions to confront development challenges led her to the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) where she completed an MSc in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship as a Standard Bank Africa Chairman Scholar. Omole holds a first degree in Economics and Statistics (2:1), from the University of Benin and an MBA (Marketing Specialization) from the University of Lagos, both in Nigeria, West Africa. She also possesses a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom.
