Transforming urban health with Antonia Orr

I joined the Associate Programme in 2013, leaving my life in Mexico City behind me. It was a grounding and formative year for me professionally, sparking friendships that have lasted to this day.

After an extended placement at ECT Charity, I became CEO of Coalition for Efficiency, a small and agile non-profit which supported hundreds of charities and social enterprises to develop their impact measurement practice. During my six years at the helm, I worked closely with On Purpose, whether delivering training to Associates, hosting a placement, providing skilled volunteering opportunities to Fellows or supporting the core team to develop an impact framework. It was all great fun.

I now work at Impact on Urban Health, a foundation addressing health inequalities in South London. My partnerships role has led me to collaborate with and learn from health practitioners, community leaders, academics, funders and city government officials in Lambeth, Southwark and beyond. The foundation has been a popular destination for On Purpose Associates and Fellows, so a decade on, I continue to be in excellent company.
